The talk will explore the final, varied section of Fasti 3 (791-884), which includes two catasterisms (the Kite and Aries), the Equinox, and festivals of Minerva (treated at some length), Concordia, Salus & Pax, and Luna (touched on briefly). Themes to be considered: the lunar calendar, closure, the absence of Mars, Ovidian playfulness, genre.
