Columbia Classics Club
The newly founded Columbia Classics Club is a space for Columbia and Barnard students with a love for Latin, Greek, and the Ancient World to come together, learn from one another, and hopefully have some fun! We plan to host weekly meetings on Mondays from 8-9 PM, during which we will be hosting Guest Lectures, hate-watching travesties of classical cinema such as Troy or 300, competing in classics-themed trivia nights, going on museum trips together, and whatever else we as a club come up with.

Columbia Undergraduate Journal of Classics (CUJC)
The Columbia Undergraduate Journal of Classics (CUJC) seeks to provide Columbia undergraduates a platform to showcase their original work on the history, philosophy, literature, art, reception, and culture of the ancient world. The Journal also seeks to create an environment in which intellectual exchange about Antiquity is encouraged beyond the classroom. The Journal welcomes interest from undergraduate students who are interested in engaging with Antiquity from across all academic backgrounds, whether it be through writing, editorial work, art, design, or outreach. Please fill out this form if you are interested in learning more, receiving announcements, or contributing to the Journal.

Black Students in Classics (BSIC)
Black Students in Classics (or BSIC for short) is a student organization for black and underrepresented minority students who are interested in Classics on any level. We aim to be both a safe space where students can share their experiences and feel a sense of community, and we're interested in engaging with the broader community and providing Classics access to individuals who have previously felt excluded. Columbia's (and especially Columbia College's) unique history and our place within it allow us to connect with our institution's rich classical background, Barnard, and the neighborhoods of Morningside Heights and Harlem. Outreach is one of our major goals and we hope to utilize our resources to assist black students already in Classics and students who are interested in beginning to engage with Classics.
If you would like to inquire about joining, please feel free to reach out to them at blackstudentsinclassics@gmail.com.
