Cavafy, the Hellenistic Age, and Us

John Ma has just joined the Classics Department after 15 years in Oxford. The author of Antiochos III and the Cities of Western Asia Minor (1999) and Statues and Cities: Honorific Portraits and Civic Identity in the Hellenistic World (2013), he works on ancient Greek history and culture, especially in the Hellenistic period.
